Meet Dr. Kuhar
A Diplomate of the American Academy of Periodontology, Dr. Kuhar has over thirty years experience in dentistry and taught and practiced Periodontics since 1978. His experience includes private practice, as well as teaching and staff positions at several major hospitals. He was enrolled in a dual degree program during Dental school, Dr. Kuhar graduated from the University of Illinois College of Dentistry with Honors in 1974 and also received a Masters degree in Oral Biology the same year. He completed his Periodontal residency and received a second Masters degree at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and George Washington University in Washington DC. Dr. Kuhar has been placing dental implants since 1986 using a variety of implant systems. He has given numerous lectures and presentations on Periodontics and Implant dentistry.
Dr Kuhar married his wife Patricia in 1970. He has one son living in New York City working in investment banking. He enjoys traveling, woodworking, gardening and bicycling.
Dr. Kuhar is dedicated to providing the most predictable and successful treatment for each individual patient. He is a very caring and patient oriented Periodontist.
