Sedation dentistry is a wonderful option for many individuals looking for a more relaxed dental experience. You might be an ideal candidate if you have a high fear of the dentist, have experienced traumatic dental visits in the past, or find it difficult to get numb. It's also beneficial for those with a bad gag reflex, very sensitive teeth, or if you have limited time to complete extensive dental work. Patients with complex dental problems, a fear of needles and shots, or an aversion to the noises, smells, and tastes often associated with dental care can also find great relief with sedation. Furthermore, if you feel fear or embarrassment about your teeth, sedation can help you overcome these feelings and get the care you need.

Many dentists utilize sedation dentistry to create a calming and comfortable environment for patients who are anxious about dental appointments or procedures. Our sedation dentist in Colorado Springs offers various forms of sedation, including intravenous (IV) sedation and oral sedation. This variety allows us to offer minimal, moderate, and deep levels of sedation, tailoring the experience precisely to your anxiety level.
